Hypocrisy

I'm fed up with the hypocrisy of Lebanese people. The country is under attack, our society is on the brink of implosion, and all what we find to say is national unity. Who are we fooling? Why are we hiding behind behind our finger? Will national unity help us defeat Israel? Will national unity solve all our problems?
What national unity are we talking about? Should we unite against Israel? Should we unite against Someone? Should we unite against Hezbollah?
Or should we unite for Lebanon? Perhaps.. But what Lebanon? A Lebanon who is constantly fighting against superior forces? A Lebanon that believes that war is the only solution to solve our problems? A Lebanon that believes that by Naming Israel "Falastine al Mushtalla" (Literally Occupied Palestine) will make it disappear? A Lebanon that believes 3 prisoners are worth hundreds of dead?

National unity when we can't agree on a vision for the country? National unity with a multiheaded state? A state where peace is a taboo subject? A state where not talking about a problem makes it disappear?

Enough hypocrisy.. When will we have someone courageous enough to stand up for his principle. Defy laws, cross PCs, Be pragmatic
